The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act
The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act is heading to the President's desk after one of the most bipartisan votes in recent day.
House: 358-32
Senate: 85-5
What the bill actually does:
Removes regulatory red tape to enable more housing to be built faster. Caps the number of single-family homes institutional investors can purchase at 350. Opens pathways back to homeownership for first-time buyers who have been priced out.
The President may sign it, though he says after the SAVE AMERICA ACT, that he says is a national emergency.
